Twitter for Pictures
On the back of Twittergram , the service to send voice / audio messages over Twitter, Dave Winer is at it again. Developing more useful Twitter mashups that is.
This time his creation is called "Twitter for Pictures ". Fred Wilson at A VC is calling it Twickr . It is a mashup of Twitter and Flickr where you can send a picture to Flickr and then it automatically updates your twitter subscribers. Pretty cool.
UPDATE - Here is the actual Flickr to Twitter page , it is only in limited trial so you will need to ask Dave for a chance to try it.

Keep track of your car mileage with twitter
This is a neat tool that was brought to our attention by Shadowscope . Basically it is a service that you can enter your mileage when you fill up your car, then the service does all the mileage and calculations that you could want.
The cool thing about it is that you don't have to wait till you get home on the web, you can enter the details via twitter, right at the pump. Very cool!
My Mile Marker is here.

Update Your Google Calendar via Twitter
"Tweet your Google Calendar " is the tagline that Twittercal has at the top of their website. As the range of Twitter applications grows it seems logical that more and more productivity ideas and ways to use Twitter in this regard will come to light.
Twittercal is a twitter bot that allows you to send a special coded message via twitter, through any twitter channel (web, sms, mobile, twitter client etc.) that will update your calendar at Google.
While it is a good idea in theory, I would have thought that most business people have a blackberry or other smartphone that does calendar already. Then again, maybe this isn't only for business people!!

Now you can Twitter in the future - from today!
With the constant updating, tweets and twittering going on, we all thought we were in the know and keeping our friends right up to date, to the second, right? Chris24.ca , the developer of Tweetahead doesn't think so, he can help you to do one better. He (and Tweetahead) can help you to Tweet into the future! Yup, you heard right, you can set up tweets now and deliver them into the future. The possibilities are endless. Now you can even automate yourself on Twitter!
The Tweet Ahead app is available as a Mac OS X dashboard Widget and can be downloaded here .
There is also a Tweet Ahead web page but we are not exactly sure what it does. There is no info and it just asks you for a user ID and password. We weren't comfortable entering our Twitter ID in here when we don't even know what the site is for or what it does.
Anyway, the concept is cool. If anyone has more details, let us all know in the comments.
