Twitter for Pictures
On the back of Twittergram , the service to send voice / audio messages over Twitter, Dave Winer is at it again. Developing more useful Twitter mashups that is.
This time his creation is called "Twitter for Pictures ". Fred Wilson at A VC is calling it Twickr . It is a mashup of Twitter and Flickr where you can send a picture to Flickr and then it automatically updates your twitter subscribers. Pretty cool.
UPDATE - Here is the actual Flickr to Twitter page , it is only in limited trial so you will need to ask Dave for a chance to try it.

140 Characters Not Enough for Your Message? How about a Twittergram?
Have you ever felt limited by the 140 character limit of twitter? Well Dave Winer has the answer for you. His idea is that you can create what he calls a Twittergram. Basically you can just create content, post the content somewhere else and then link to it in Twitter. That is a VERY high level view of it, go read his post to find out more...

From the Godfather of RSS
Dave Winer, "the Godfather of RSS) has two very good posts up (see below for links) in the last few days about Twitter. The first, called an imbalance of Twitter and how in the beginning your friends had to be "approved" to be friends. Now "friends" can just join your twitter blog and watch what you are doing, scary for some but to others it is just all part of the bigger communications picture. Face to face, voice, blogs, feeds, email, sms and now Twitter. This is what our social systems are made of now and also much has yet to be defined says Winer. I agree, we are changing the way we interact with other people very rapidly and we don't know what is around the corner.
